There is an unexpected yet intriguing collaboration happening in the sleepwear side of fashion: the lingerie brand Thirdlove is collaborating with the high-end shoe designer Sarah Flint. The two brands are working together for a limited-edition sleepwear collection.

While a footwear designer pairing with an intimates brand to create sleepwear initially seems like a strange and somewhat random concept, the WWD article “ThirdLove Teams Up With Shoe Designer Sarah Flint for Sleepwear Collab” by Kellie Ell explains that both Thirdlove and Sarah Flint value confidence. Both brands also care about providing the right balance of style and comfort in their products.

The collection is available on Thirdlove’s website and consists of pajama kits, sets, shirts, shorts, and pants. Made of lightweight cotton blends, these sleepwear options feature Sarah Flint’s blue and white floral design. This collection marks a new development regarding design for Thirdlove, as these are their first pajamas to feature a printed design. Ranging from $60-$190, the options from this collection instantly stand out from all the solid-color sleepwear on Thirdlove’s website.

While the idea of a footwear designer pairing up with an innerwear brand to sell pajamas still seems like a slightly peculiar plan, both brands are successful so far and seem to have similar values regarding what they hope to provide for their customers, as well as a similar target market.
